Website terms
These terms apply to use of The Ninth Seat website. An engineering assignment requires a separate agreement.
Website material
The website describes infrastructure, monitoring and release-engineering services. Its articles and diagrams provide general technical information. Illustrations are constructed examples and do not document a client system or its performance.
A production change needs assessment against the actual application, dependencies and operational requirements. A general example is not a deployment instruction, security assessment or promise of service availability.
Use of the website
You may read, link to and print reasonable extracts for business assessment. Do not misrepresent the source, resell the material as your own service or use the website to distribute harmful content.
Website use and an initial inquiry do not create an engagement, reserve capacity or establish support hours. Scope, fees, responsibilities, access and any response arrangements are agreed separately.
Confidential technical information
Agree a suitable channel before sharing credentials, private keys, customer records or production logs. Initial contact should contain only the information needed to describe the proposed work.
Availability and rights
We may correct material or interrupt website availability for maintenance, security and other operational reasons. Unless stated otherwise, original text, artwork and brand materials belong to The Ninth Seat or their respective licensors. Applicable licenses continue to govern third-party material.
External websites have their own content, availability and privacy practices. A link does not imply endorsement. These terms do not exclude rights or liabilities that applicable law does not permit us to exclude. Responsibility for engineering deliverables belongs in the relevant client agreement.
